“The Renee Fund” has come to life, as a result of the recent and tragic death of our lovely 18 year old daughter. Renee Alexis Robbins was born June 14, 1993 just 3 pounds and 12 ounces and 9 weeks early. She was truely a precious and miraculous gift from God.
Renee was only 5 weeks into her freshman year at Norwich University in Northfield, VT., having the time of her life as a young adult. She was perusing her dreams of following in her father’s footsteps; from serving with the United States Marine Corps to a lifelong career in Law Enforcement.
Renee always wanted to work for the FBI in Computer Forensics, as a Computer Counter-Terrorism Specialist. Renee was a driven young spirit; fun loving, care-free, intelligent and talented in so many ways – she loved to play soccer, to socialize and to make people laugh. She was a devoted daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend to so many. Everyone she ever meet, treasured the moments they shared with Renee.
On October 2, 2011- Renee was killed
by a Drunk Driver
